How Much Has La Crosse Graphics Reduced Their Environmental Impact? (Hint: It's a lot)

June 26, 2017

The American Paper Recycling Association has recognized La Crosse Graphics as a green company for its positive impact on the environment. We're proud of our efforts to protect the planet that we live on.

Just how much has La Crosse Graphics done to conserve our Earth?

La Crosse Graphics has conserved:

Over 16,000 trees. Nearly the same amount of trees in the entire city of La Crosse. We couldn't imagine our bluffs bare with no trees!

3,784,400 kwh of energy. This is enough energy to keep Lambeau Field energized for 5 seasons of football

6,461,172 gallons of water. That means we have conserved enough water to fill 10 Olympic sized swimming pools.

2,769 cubic yards of landfill. One ton of recycled paper saves just 4.6 cubic yards. That comes out to over 600 tons of recycled paper!

55,381 pounds of air pollution. The same impact of taking 9,169 cars off of the road today.

Along with our conservation efforts, La Crosse Graphics believes in proactively promoting organizations with similar views on the environment. We support our favorite nonprofit groups like like Seed Savers. This national organization is on a mission to "conserve and promote America's culturally diverse but endangered garden and food crop heritage for future generations by collecting, growing, and sharing heirloom seeds and plants." La Crosse Graphics wholeheartedly supports this mission and is honored to be a recognized donor again in 2017.
